23 Sep 17 UTC Unfortunately, Russia did not survive until the end, although I always wanted to.
Thanks to everyone
24 Sep 17 UTC Good game! I probably wouldn't have survived until the end anyways; there were just too many foes for me to fight.

As was pretty obvious, I chose to throw the game to England once I realized I was going to be squashed between them and Turkey. I chose to do it that way because I had made a genuine attempt to ally with Turkey, ordering several support-hold and support move orders (though they failed and didn't show up). My efforts were for naught, so I harbored more hostility towards Turkey than I did towards England.
24 Sep 17 UTC Russia, I'm sorry we had that miscommunication; when I moved to Siberia, I was intending to support however I could. Imagine my frustration when I was attacked by you! ...one of the great conundrums of gunboat.

Venice, the same goes to us as well. We fought too much before we could really make a difference.

Good game, everyone (England especially).
24 Sep 17 UTC Well fought, but very disappointed in Turkey's play. He must have had his head in the sand to realize his attacks on everyone were giving England the game. Sometimes, the hardest thing to do is just sit and give everyone around you peace, and that is exactly what Turkey needed to do. Italy needed to be completely focused on England, but that fight between Turkey and Italy killed any chance of a proper defense. I thought I was holding the middle pretty well while watching England just move around me with the swiss cheese borders others were putting up.
24 Sep 17 UTC That final peace reached between Turkey and Italy was about 3 years too late.
24 Sep 17 UTC Good game everyone. I got to leave early since in the old Swedish guessing game of where's Russia going, I managed to guess wrong. I enjoyed seeing how things played out.
24 Sep 17 UTC Good game, all. Great job England.
