I really wish people would ready up on these. It's not like there is any communication to be had. They are gunboat. Moves are all the communication there is. Having to wait two days for one person to retreat is outrageous.

I agree, it's really a pain to wait the whole phase length for a simple retreat/build. I believe this is the main reason players get bored and want out after awhile. Didn't we have a " gentlemans agreement " to ready up whenever possible? At least during the retreat/builds phase.

I thought so with this caliber of players...

Three games down, three different winners, a three way race to victory. 1st FoW is going to be an interesting tournament.

I do my best -- and usually succeed -- in readying orders quickly. I also get annoyed at times when it takes two days for someone to ready a retreat, and then another two for a build. That being said, it happens with some frequency that I need the time. That's been the case often over the past month, as I've had numerous out-of-town trips with spotty coverage and a very busy schedule. I'm pretty sure I'm not the main culprit when it comes to the delays, but I know I have contributed.

Congrats to mouse and Truthie (Babe Truth?) on solos - I'll update scoring soon, likely tomorrow.

Strider, I have 15 gunboats running (well 9 now that 6 have completed) plus a number of other games yet I always ready up. And I'm a busy 50+ year old with a family and career.

Mr Truth that is exceptional! I plan otherthings with my life too.

I don't think I'm your game delayer anyway but 2 days is 2 days for a reason you signed up for it then don't complain. The time frame allows for spotty coverage and what ever...

Now we just need to work out who's who in the other games so we know who to stop :p

A win AND pain for a rival? The day keeps getting better and better! Hehe I'm not here for the numbers.. it's more about the fun of matching wits with those who are armed and dangerous in that arena. Usually that requires access to press for me, so these quiet games are quite the challenge. Methinks my luck has come to an end.
