Spring, 1901: (Argotitan): hi |
25 May 13 UTC |
Spring, 1901: (Argotitan): Are you there? |
25 May 13 UTC |
Spring, 1901: (Argotitan): Helllllloooooooo......? |
25 May 13 UTC |
Autumn, 1901: Yes hello, sorry, working on a school project |
25 May 13 UTC |
Spring, 1902: Oh OK. What sort of project? |
25 May 13 UTC |
Autumn, 1902: Oh, my final exam for AP United States History. We are doing presentations and voting for figures to be put in the wall of fame. Mine is on Nikola Tesla. |

Spring, 1903: Why are you using Tesla for American History instead of Edison? |
25 May 13 UTC |
Spring, 1903: Because Edison failed. |
25 May 13 UTC |
Spring, 1903: Tesla is so cool! And he is a citizen and also not a jerk. |
25 May 13 UTC |
Autumn, 1903: Hmmm, you don't seem like a rookie at this. |
25 May 13 UTC |
Autumn, 1903: I've only played a few games here. :-\ |
25 May 13 UTC |
Autumn, 1903: My previous games had silly mistakes in them. One had a 28 second lag. I missed the first round in another. |

Autumn, 1903: Yeah, I'm sure Diplomacy isn't new to you though. It isn't for almost everyone on this site :) |
25 May 13 UTC |
Spring, 1904: Thank you for the complement. :-) |
25 May 13 UTC |
Spring, 1904: I never thought Edison was a jerk. He was just ambitious and understood the need to get down and dirty. |
25 May 13 UTC |
Spring, 1904: If you don't carry yourself with confidence, people will walk over you. |
25 May 13 UTC |
Spring, 1904: Not sure if you should support Berlin or Munich with Silesia? |
25 May 13 UTC |
Autumn, 1904: If you want to talk about jerks, look up Andrew Carnegie's partner, Frick. |
25 May 13 UTC |
Spring, 1905: The thing with Austria is it can't deploy fleets in the north. That really hurts if it doesn't get Moscow fast. |
25 May 13 UTC |
Autumn, 1905: Frick was evil, especially during the Homestead Strike! Edison thought Direct current was better than Tesla's alternating current and demonstrated by electrocuting people's pets. Alternating current was ultimately the better option because it was easier to sustain over long distances. Edison still though DC was better but he was completely outclassed. |
