21 Aug 14 UTC | Autumn, 1904: Oli (Moderator): Ups, sorry, got a response concerning a different variant. That's the problem if you only have a small ipad on your holidays. Sorry. But I will keep this game on hold till Thuersday to resolve this. |
24 Aug 14 UTC | Autumn, 1904: Oli (Moderator): Thanks for the patience. The move was valid. I will add some explanations about this on the variant page and unpause this game now. |
05 Oct 14 UTC | Autumn, 1908: GameMaster: Poland voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has. |
13 Nov 14 UTC | Hi al, GG. Short summary of my game: I planned to ally with Ireland and go east against Burgundy, but after a few turns Ireland tried to stab me. Luckily, he kept fighting Burgundy, and Sicily did not pile upon me, so I was able to overcome him, albeit slowly.. despite the unexpected move of Israel to Ifni Sea (I did not know the move was possible, and even believed it might be a bug; btw, Israel, why didn't you try to move to South Atlantic?). After eliminating Ireland and splitting the remaining burgundian SCs with Poland, I was quite uncertain about what to do: stab Sicily (and risk that Israel/Poland would reap the benefits) or get the draw? I opted for the draw because of the risks, and because I remembered that Sicily did not came after me in the first years. |
13 Nov 14 UTC | And thank you for that :) I had to hope that the threat of someone else benefiting was enough to keep me safe, but my worry was growing along with Poland. |
13 Nov 14 UTC | Yeah toyed with sth Atlantic but supply lines was my biggest problem. Taking nearly 3 years to get to the front. Really just wanted to bother you and block my backdoor (which you didn't know was there!) |
