05 Feb 15 UTC | Spring, 1454: GameMaster: Please remember that negotiations before the game begins are not allowed. |
09 Feb 15 UTC | Spring, 1454: (Petyr Baelish): This map is really cool, the Unification War is one of my favorite events in history! |
09 Feb 15 UTC | Spring, 1454: (saladinsmith): Not the most balanced map, but it's for the sake of historical accuracy. If we don't get the last three players with a day to spare, I'll change to a weaker country and hope that lures someone in. |
09 Feb 15 UTC | Spring, 1454: (saladinsmith): I have been really looking forward to trying this though. |
09 Feb 15 UTC | Spring, 1454: (Skylin): I like this map well enough. Though yeah, serious balancing issues. Have to be a good diplomat + luck to get far with the smaller countries. I've played this map 3 times. Once as Napoli, once as Stato, and once as Venezia. I ended up in a 3 way draw as Napoli, horrible defeat as Venezia (Napoli, Ferrara, and Milano teamed up on me), and my game as Stato is ongoing. |

09 Feb 15 UTC | Spring, 1454: (saladinsmith): Ack. I always do the refresh idiot. You'd think I'd learn. |
09 Feb 15 UTC | Spring, 1454: (Petyr Baelish): I have never played it but I love video games like Europa Universalis and Crusader Kings, so I am used to imbalance. I actually almost picked Sienna and was developing a strat for them, but I changed last minute :) |

09 Feb 15 UTC | Spring, 1454: (Skylin): Oh hey, I love those games too! EUIV and CKII. I'm playing CKII as we speak. I'm switching back and forth between EUIV and CKII right now. Playing CKII with the Shattered World mod where everyone starts from a 1 province nation. I picked Salerno in Italy (for others reading this it's like right next to Amalfi) and I've worked my way up Italy. I have most of this map. I still need to take the Milano territories besides Cremona and and provinces west of that. Then my territory stops at Treviso in the east. |
09 Feb 15 UTC | Spring, 1454: (pyrhos): Oh EUIV is good and since the total war series are on there way down I'll have to search for new strategy games to play. (still loves Medival 2 and shogun 2 however) :) |
09 Feb 15 UTC | Spring, 1454: (MustLoveCats): Hello. Did someone mention EUIV? |
09 Feb 15 UTC | Spring, 1454: (saladinsmith): My big game was Nobunaga's Ambition: Lord of Darkness. Lots of resource management and stuff, in addition to strategy and light diplomacy, but it really pales in comparison to Diplomacy. |
09 Feb 15 UTC | Spring, 1454: (saladinsmith): Looks like we'll be able to get this game running soon. |
09 Feb 15 UTC | Spring, 1454: (Petyr Baelish): Lol, I love Paradox games. I have CKII EUIV and Victoria II. My favorite area to play in all of them is Italy. |
10 Feb 15 UTC | Spring, 1454: (Petyr Baelish): My favorite mod for CKII is the Game of Thrones mod. As you can tell from my username, I am a huge fan of the series. |
10 Feb 15 UTC | Spring, 1454: (Skylin): I haven't had EUIV for very long. Just did one full game as Spain and might continue with a timeline extension mod. I did find a Shattered World mod though and I picked Napoli. I love the Roman empire and want to remake it in those games. I've heard of Hearts of Iron and Victoria but haven't got around to them yet. |
10 Feb 15 UTC | Spring, 1454: (MustLoveCats): I can't tell because I have about 0.00% knowledge of Game of Thrones. I wouldn't tell your name from some descendant of an old Irish Gaelic duke. |
10 Feb 15 UTC | Spring, 1454: (Skylin): I love GoT too! They have a GoT mod for EUIV as well. Strangely though I can't find the GoT mod for CKII anymore. Never did do anything significant with it |
10 Feb 15 UTC | Spring, 1454: (MustLoveCats): Again, I am clueless about it. And if I were to be honest, I don't plan on going into it. How much am I missing out? |
