13 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1601: Greetings all.
13 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1601: Hello to all, I hope you'll enjoy this game!
@France what do you think about peace, we can make alliance with England, we'll just push east, it would be easy and effective. I can give you bounce in Navarre, if you want. I want Flanders under my control. I have two plans with this army, we need to decide which is better. First: I'll move into Wst and then move into Bremen and bounce Denmark, so Engalnd will have better postion in moving east, or what I like more, I'll move into Lorraine, you into FCo and then you'll support me into Bavaria and in same turn you'll take Lorraine. And I can support (or eventually you support me) into Venice, if you move Marseilles-Tuscany. It will also make our relationship better and Habsburg will be finished soon.
@England read the message I wrote France, please. What do you think about that. If you attack me or France, Denmark will destroy you and it won't be hard fight for him, so do you accept? My only request: Flanders, I want them. But I can help you with Denmark. Which possibility you like more? Bouncing Denmark, or I can attack Habsburg and make our position stronger at land? Also Net are yours (of cours)
@Ottoman what do you plan? Can you help us in attacking Habsburg? I want North Africa, is that possible?
@Sweden will you help us with Denmark? Or what are your plans?
13 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1601: Greetings all.

@Spain -- I vehemently oppose the slander against my nation. The Danes are peace loving and have no illusions that any fights with neighbors would be easy. Therefore I seek friendly posture with all unless moves or press indicate otherwise. Retract your warmongering and we may speak of reaching an accommodation in the Low Countries.

@Sweden -- It's abundantly clear from his message that Spain regards you as a fourth wheel in his scheme of a Triple Western Alliance. There is plenty of room for Scandinavia for us both if you desire peace. We can bounce in W. Got for example and have a safe border.
13 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1601: @France -- I don't see how Spain's proposal leaves you any room for growth. His plans only exacerbate his encirclement of you, and set you on an unnecessary collision course with Habsburg.
13 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1601: @Denmark - sounds great - peace sounds new and good
13 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1601: @England -- If you'll reject Spain's proposal, I happily accept your dominion of Scotland and DMZ Norwegian Sea. I hope you'll agree we have better options than a squabble over the frozen sea while Spain consolidates his empire.
13 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1601: Guys - First Public Press game and very complicated
13 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1601: @Denmark I'm just trying to make Western Triple works, I don't want to attack you really. I'm also peace lowing and I have no problem with Danes. It all depends on Engalnd and France.
@England you see? Denmark just made peace with Sweden, so you'll be his first target, I think we have to work together.
@France from my message it really look like I'm looking only for my own growth. But it's not like that, I'm trying to make new strategy at this map, not the same as always, I'm able to leave you Bavaria later so you can grow and push east, but we'll see.
13 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1601: @Poland - It would be nice if we could work together. Perhaps Sweden could help up against Russia. They only have 3 armies and we could deal with him in no time. I would control the Black Sea and could support your armies in that region.

@Habsburg - You seem quite isolated at the moment, perhaps you could speak up and tell us about your ideas for Europe. We need some kind of deal in the Balkans fast if you want to deal with what Spain plans for you. I will have Serbia and you have Hungary. Then we should DMZ the area. You should talk to Poland.

@Denmark and Sweden - I would like to endorse your alliance if you choose it despite the fact I am quite far away. It would work well against Russia.

@Spain - Slow down! You may have North Africa but you have no need of going any further into the Mediterranean. I can work with you in southern and eastern Europe if push comes to shove but I have Russia to deal with so you will understand if I am reluctant to start to many wars.

@France - Please assert your sovereignty and start talking. You are a powerful state and should not just go along with what Spain thinks. Same to you @England.

@Russia - Sorry.
13 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1601: @Ottoman sure, I won't move any further, I was just considering some kind of alliance between me and France and England. I hope I won't control them by words, I need powerful ally:)
13 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1601: @Sweden -- I appreciate your acceptance of my peace offer. Let us give Scandinavia a seat at the table in Europe.
13 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1601: Hello! This is my first Public Press, and this should be a real learning experience for me. Personally, I would like to take this moment to extend an offer of friendship to all on the board but especially to the Habsburgs and Russia. I hope we can find ways to achieve our interests in this area without impeding on each other's.
I would also like to express my incredulity at France's reluctance to come up with his own position on matters, seeming to instead delegate to Spain on issues, despite Spain doubly bordering him, but then this is only my first game, so what do I know?
13 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1601: Bonsoir all. A busy first set of communications.
@Spain 1. Very happy to have a triple agreement with @England but the only way this works is if you relinquish Flanders. To have a unit there is too constraining for me and sets up future issues. 2. There is plenty for you to pick up across Portugal, Italy and North Africa without Flanders. As a 3 we can be strong and move east. We can be very strong like this - don't over stretch. This can be the only way I can accept any agreement.

@England - seems entirely sensible that whatever agreements are undertaken elsewhere, we kick off on the right foot with an alliance.

@Ottoman - lets see where Spain comes out. I have no direct issues at this stage for sure. Understood that dependent on Spain our relationship could go in opposite directions but that's the game.
13 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1601: @France although I'm not happy to leave Flanders, I'm open to do it, if it's only thing which can start our alliance and I don't mind if you take it or if England does. But that army can't just stay, I'll be happy if you support me into Bavaria, you can just take Flanders instead of Lorraine. I'll leave it open then and I'll move deeper into Habsburg land, or there is the other possibility... Can I have Ven?
13 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1601: Btw @France do you want bounce in Navarre? I think it's good move
13 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1601: That's unusually fighting talk there Spain. Are you sure you should ask France if you can have Venice (?)?
13 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1601: @Sweden and @Denmark Would you be open to a peace treaty? On what grounds would you be open to this?
13 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1601: Yeah, it is funny, but I'm.
13 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1601: Sorry, could you clarify?
13 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1601: @Poland -- Greetings. I think Sweden would agree with me that no fleets built in Warsaw (or 1 at the most) would be a condition. Fleet Warsaw would be a pretty silly build anyway since it cannot defend the land. I also imagine the fate of Prussia ranks highly and out of deference to both of you I will not involve myself in that discussion.

Pon/Bra looks like a good place to split 50/50
