24 May 17 UTC Good game! Thanks to raapers2 for the game-long cooperation. When the game started, I saw that Prussia had the worst record of the powers in this variant, and seeing the initial situation, I could understand why. So, I curled up like a hedgehog and just tried to nab centres each fall by surprise. Fortunately, it worked OK, mostly thanks to Austria's tolerance.
24 May 17 UTC It was amazing how long Sweden, Russia and Venice lasted. Well done to tutto for making the running.
24 May 17 UTC I wouldn't have wanted to remove Russia from the draw, but they weren't really fighting against England hard enough, so they had to go.
24 May 17 UTC Great game England and Prussia. I didn't think I'd survive very long either. Russia and Venice deserved to be cut out of the draw, though for a while I worried England would get the solo. I think we could have shortened the game by a few years if we had known/trusted that he would accept the draw once they were out. Oh well. Good game.
24 May 17 UTC I was trying to take on England but Austria was too busy attacking me fpr me to be able to do much against them and I realized I wasn't going to be in the draw. Oh well. Such is life.
Well done to the winners! Was a fun game.
24 May 17 UTC A) You stabbed me in '05. B) You CD'd in '11. C) I purposely avoided attacking you in the north (while you supported Eng/sat there), particularly once Venice stabbed me in '12. D) You CD'd again in '14. E) You squated instead of helping Germ and I hold England off after that. IMO the CDs alone made you ineligible for the draw.
25 May 17 UTC Oh, no, sorry, I wasn't complaining about you attacking me or cutting me out of the draw. Was responding to Prussia's comment about me not attacking England enough to stay in the draw. Totally understand your actions, Austria.
