25 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1860: Info: This is a choose your country game.
23 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1876: GameMaster: Bulgaria voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes Concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Conceede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat.
26 Nov 17 UTC Very impressive run, YCHTT. I was so tantalizingly close to a solo, but I never quite had enough units on my front with you to force a stalemate line.
26 Nov 17 UTC Thanks. I had my draw vote up for a long time but when i hit 17 I realized I could pull off the solo in two years and you'd take longer to get there. Suddenly it looked like I had a shot at winning the tournament. This solo puts me in the lead.
26 Nov 17 UTC Well done, nice win. Romania is my least favourite power to play in this variant, as I (for the second time) got bounced by Ottomans in Sevastapol in the first year, then it was all downhill.
26 Nov 17 UTC Congratulations on the first solo, YCHTT!

Not much to add from my side, though it's a real shame Ubercacher went after me while we started off so nicely. Also sorry for ruining you opportunities, Ruff ;-)
26 Nov 17 UTC Yeah, Truth, you can pretty much thank Bob for your solo in this one. And then after I withstood Bob's obstinate attacks Ubercatcher brainfarted and ignored the consequences of his behavior. Way to go, buddy, stab the player holding back the board leader by the skin of his teeth.

I guess this game is ultimately my fault. As we were experimenting with the new map I chose to ignore the inherent early advantages Italy has over Austria and try to buy loyalty. Naturally Truth exploited this generosity and experimentation, and clueless play from the Ottomans made is a full fledged rout.
26 Nov 17 UTC I should've also called off my attacks on you at an earlier stage, Ruff. I didn't consider Austria-Hungary enough of trouble to do so. Then the Ottoman sage happened, as you so aptly described - which meant the definitive end of the both of us.
