15 Apr 18 UTC Autumn, 1885: GameMaster: Missing orders for Autumn, 1885 (Builds) from a country with 2 or more SCs. Extending phase. The game will continue after this phase even if you do not find a replacement.
27 Apr 18 UTC Autumn, 1888: GameMaster: Someone has taken over Germany replacing "shenbo3865". Reconsider your alliances.
15 Jun 18 UTC Huh, I wasn't expecting to actually take Sinkiang - thought it might be one more year there, but I'll take it. With those two armies convoyed north, I suspect I could have taken many more SCs and all of Asia in the end (if the game didn't stop at 50). Nicely played Xildur and Dr.
Japan (BobbyLotion) - in some ways it made sense to come at me before my position got too strong, but sending 4 units south to attack me (and come up with nothing) while exposing a ton of SCs to the north was a pretty devastating mistake for you.
China - you probably should have started worrying when I started building armies - where did you expect them to go? By the time you reacted, it was too late. When I was nearly all fleets, I was a safe ally for army-heavy China.
15 Jun 18 UTC Well done, Sly! I figured that the window for stopping you was closing fast by 1890. However, I failed to comit the right amount of forces at the right places as I was entangled in a feud over coastal dominance with Russia and China. I do apparantly need to work on my gunboat communications skills, as me and China started cooperation a bit to late.

Once Sly pushed through my lines, I figured it was over but wanted to give you a fight nonetheless. Great play deserves the best opposition.

Japan has the benefit of the corner, which also gives a severe limitations in where to expand.
15 Jun 18 UTC Irish pride! The brittish empire still survives on the irish island.
15 Jun 18 UTC I agree that the dutch east indies was wide open to japanese attack and then for some strange reason they didnt push their advantage and just dithered around. It was really frustrating for the australians who were being attacked by the dutch and needed the help. I was thinking wtf is japan doing?!
15 Jun 18 UTC I was at war with everybody. Clearly my diplomatic skills need some work.

15 Jun 18 UTC This is my favourite variant. I just created another game of this variant but with normal diplomacy communication. Nobody has joined yet.
15 Jun 18 UTC Congrats, slypups.
15 Jun 18 UTC I at first wanted Holland to win which was why I didn't attack you as you took my centers. I was mad at the tactics Russia was using and wanted to throw everything at him.
15 Jun 18 UTC @China - that makes sense as retaliation against Russia
@Britain - I believe Japan tried to advance, but I managed the right counters each time. Of course you were at war with everyone - that's almost always the case with Britain in this variant. If you can convince anyone to actually ally with you early as Britain, you greatly increase your odds of victory.
@Japan - thanks for putting up the fight to the end - that is appreciated
