27 Jul 18 UTC | Congrats Amby. Nikhil I congratulate you for being one of the worst gunboaters, we could have stopped Spain. |
27 Jul 18 UTC | Thanks GOD. I always enjoy this map. Always challenging but always fun whether you win, lose or draw. I agree though re: the lack of coordinated effort to stop me. It was clear early on that me and Portugal would butt heads, likewise France and England. But with Portugal checking out/NMRing too often, you guys really should've buried the hatchet and coordinated. Yes, that's hard in gunboat, but at least stop attacking each other! I felt the 16 hours was a serious challenge for me. I prefer 48 hour games as I am so slack and even NMR on those. So cracking a win on a 16 hour game is a real coup. That said it wasn't plain sailing and would've gone another way with a couple of things changing. Appreciate the challenge and better luck to all next time. PS - I cover this off in the next episode of Diplomacy Games podcast although I don't mention the specifics as it was gunboat. |
27 Jul 18 UTC | Well since the game is over, you are allowed to talk about every Detail of this as much as you want :) |
27 Jul 18 UTC | Sweet. But we recorded this week a back to back 2 episodes, so we won't cover this one off blow by blow by a good 4-6 weeks now. |
