07 Dec 18 UTC Well played LotM!

jd, at the end there you played to lose in a WTA game, when I kept trying to pull back from you to defend against the Norwegians you ensured his victory by continuing to attack my defensive supports ... Once you could see that and LotM's units both sides of Britain a simple supply centre count tells you that he almost certainly has 8-9 and is simply looking to take either Winchester or Rouen.

That was horrible to watch ... and having so nearly got over the line in 1068 I made my own set of blunders, but I knew that once the was playing Norwegians appear around Scotland the Saxons have little time left before a competent player would pick my A heavy northern forces apart...

It didn't help that I was playing from a hospital bed, up to my eyeballs in morphine! And the latter was the reason for the stop/start speed of readying up, for which I apologize
07 Dec 18 UTC And viewing Rouen not Caen as the capital didn't help. (it is now, but not in 1066!)
08 Dec 18 UTC There was a point where I did start supporting holds of English units, but by then, it was too late to matter
