Well-played Xildur. WiJaMa I thought you should have dropped other pursuits in the west and moved to prevent Mexico’s inevitable win, long ago. I made a desperate move (sorry uber) - not to grab dots, but to sound the alarm that Mexico was going to win, to apply builds to Southern California (the only way additional forces were going to get to that front), and to hopefully express to Heartland that I would see Mexico win rather than get eliminated to the benefit of Heartland, only to have Mexico win anyway. Ultimately I took a strategy that would be challenging to pull off in full-press, and nearly impossible in gunboat, but it was the only way I saw to have any chance of stopping Mexico, based on the moves others were still making.

Peru withdrawal was the tipping point that allow me to wrap up on southern side and make me able to go North.
