24 Apr 19 UTC I was doing well through the mid-game, but Germany decided to go all out to sabotage me when he saw he was going down, and gave the strong position to France here. I almost moved an army from Warsaw to Livonia in the turn he convoyed the army to Livonia, and I think that would have changed my fortunes - as it was, I was stuck dealing with Germany squirming around my interior, and that did me in.

Regardless, if only Italy and France had gotten in a fight, I think I could have come out and triumphed. Alas, they appeared to stay friendly with each other until very late.

In the late game, there were two greedy players going for the win, understandably. While I was hoping for a draw, I guess both thought they had a shot at a win.

Well done Dr. Helmut Kohl, particularly where you were in a tough battle with Germany through the mid-game. I must say, Germany could just as easily have given the game to me as to you when he went all-out at me and ceded his territory to you, so I give him a partial credit for your victory as well.
25 Apr 19 UTC [Regardless, if only Italy and France had gotten in a fight, I think I could have come out and triumphed. Alas, they appeared to stay friendly with each other until very late.]

I tried in spring 03 to attack France but he was well covered so devided to retreat and try an alliance and arrive 1vs1 to the end
Gg and thanks
25 Apr 19 UTC That was an amazing game. I am writing later more.
25 Apr 19 UTC I put my trust in you slypups and you took the foolish option of building F Sev when the Juggernaut was set up! You got a temporary tactical advantage, but any fuhl kno that knocking out Turkey takes too many tempi leaving strategic opportunities for your enemies...
26 Apr 19 UTC A really interesting game. Strong played Russia. I thought in the midgame that i have to prevent a Solo victory of yours.
I knew Italy was getting stronger but we got the same enemy. Perhaps my attack at Italy was nearly too late. In the endgame i got luck to win.
And i was voting for a draw a long time in the endgame because i saw the brave fight of Russia and i wasnt sure to win :)
GG (really this time)
26 Apr 19 UTC I stand by my actions Turkey. If not for Germany’s sacrificial attack at me while gifting territory to France, I would likely have gotten a solo. I had good northern progress and did not need a juggernaut
29 Apr 19 UTC Of course you do, Russia and to be fair you're probably right, but setting up a Jug is so difficult at least let me mourn its extinction
29 Apr 19 UTC Lol - fair enough
