04 May 19 UTC | Spring, 1901: this is the symmetrical map. there is a special rule - when your unit is on a coastal depot you have the option of converting it into a fleet/army. the grey units are neutral and must be dislodged (they disband not retreat). you can support them to stop me from capturing them. |

04 May 19 UTC | Autumn, 1901: What is up with the arrows? |
05 May 19 UTC | Autumn, 1901: they show the previous move. to get rid of them press Toggle Moves. to see what orders you have already put in press Preview |
05 May 19 UTC | Spring, 1902: Sorry, I meant the ones in Gor, Mit, Rbu, Sma, Buc, and Rod. But I do want to get rid of them, so thanks for the info on Toggle Moves. |
05 May 19 UTC | Autumn, 1902: ohh sorry I forgot them. they're land bridges. a boat or an army can orders Chr-Nog for example |
05 May 19 UTC | Autumn, 1902: Transform: You may change a fleet into an army and vice versa using transform during the diplomacy phase at a coast with a supply center. The unit holds and can be supported in holding, but the conversion is only successful if the unit is not attacked. Neutral forces: There are neutral territories, painted with a black color on the map. Each neutral territory is occupied by a neutral army that never does anything but hold. These armies may be supported by other players. They are disbanded immediately if dislodged. Bridges: There are 6 bridges on the map (Gawan-Gurand, Orlon-Pirh, Nabai-Arkoon, Mellar-Bridon, Charaua-Nogk and Esmaladan-Utar). These bridges can only be used by armies, while fleets are unaffected by them. |
05 May 19 UTC | Autumn, 1902: it looks like a boat cant use the landbridge, which is unusual |
05 May 19 UTC | Autumn, 1902: Thanks. I guess I could have read the varient rules. |
06 May 19 UTC | Spring, 1904: Well, this one has clearly spiraled out of my control. |
06 May 19 UTC | Spring, 1904: this map is OK but can be pretty annoying. if you're not enjoying we can try another. take a look at the 2 player variants https://vdiplomacy.net/variants.php |
06 May 19 UTC | Autumn, 1904: I don't mind it, but I have learned a bit since my opening. |
06 May 19 UTC | Autumn, 1904: Let's give it a bit longer. |
07 May 19 UTC | Spring, 1906: So I am curious about our last game. I always want to learn the other players perspective. What points were there that you would say I really did well? Where did I make mistakes? |
07 May 19 UTC | Spring, 1906: >I really did well nigga u got to 18 first |
07 May 19 UTC | Autumn, 1906: Well, I means specifically. I was really worried when you had a fleet and an army behind my lines and were about to get another to STP. |
08 May 19 UTC | Spring, 1908: i request a non-aggression treaty until i’m able to form a proper line |
08 May 19 UTC | Spring, 1908: I sure wish I knew the power of those interior seas earlier. Dang they are important. |
08 May 19 UTC | Spring, 1908: I too learned the hard way after getting repeatedly whipped by experienced players on this site. a trick I learned from one of those old dogs is to convoy in 1901, forgoing one build but giving you an advantage in the inaccessible interior sea. |
08 May 19 UTC | Spring, 1908: I saw you do that. Learning experience. |
