23 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1901: Why is Peaceful Gary Germany? I don’t trust that for a minute... |
23 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1901: We enjoy the meadow flowers. The yarrow swaying in the breeze. Come down to my field, dear friends, and see. |
23 Apr 20 UTC | Autumn, 1901: Bahahaha. Look what all you fools did! |
23 Apr 20 UTC | Autumn, 1901: Ugh. I suck and Italy sucks. Also: I wish you all had selected names by which I could know you. |
23 Apr 20 UTC | Autumn, 1901: Italy is hard. But as long as you pick up Tunis this fall that’s break even. |
24 Apr 20 UTC | Autumn, 1901: Wow big turn! A lot going on! |
25 Apr 20 UTC | Autumn, 1902: Allayall want you some belgium. Someone put a big waffle on the floor and said “fight!” |
25 Apr 20 UTC | Autumn, 1902: Maybe another useful bulletin: you can't push from behind. In order to "support move", the supporting unit must be able to reach the destination. |
25 Apr 20 UTC | Autumn, 1902: (even though it doesn't move itself) |
26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1903: Yeah, I figured out that support move detail after a few futile turns :) |
26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1903: My biggest question is the way the order drop-down menu works... you say "support move" to "location" from "location"... what's the "from"? Is that the army you want to support and where they're coming from? |
26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1903: Yeah so next turn your army which is invenice will support from tyrolia to trieste |
26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1903: For example! He he |
26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1903: Was that a joke to make a useless order for him? Don't make jokes, because I don't know how to play. If that is a real order which could make sense, please explain? |
26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1903: ha, sorry. no it was completely an accident. sorry mike! HYPOTHETICALLY, italy could order the following on this turn A Ven --> Tyr A Rom --> Ven then, next trn A Tyr --> Tri A Ven Support A Tyr ---> Tri The army in Venice supports the army from Tyrolia into Trieste. |
26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1903: The reason that "from" part of the order is important is because you could have a situation where you have multiple units all converging. Munich could have 6 armies surrounding it, for example, from 3 or 4 different countries. And the system needs to know who specifically you are supporting. In such a situation you could have 3 armies supporting a 4th, which is being attacked by two others, etc etc. |
26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1903: In this case i was laughing at myself because since he mentioned specifics I thought Mike was on the private channel. So faux pas on my part. |
26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1903: it makes sense now, i didn't realize you were talking about the turn after the upcoming turn. please explain why my unit in bulgaria lost. first, it looks like 2-2, i have a hold and a support hold vs. move + support move. also I did not know you could support other peoples' armies. i guess i should read. |
26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1903: oh does the fact that my fleet in aegean got attacked mean it can't support? |
26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1903: i think im ready to surrender. |
