17 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1939: GameMaster: Please remember that negotiations before the game begins are not allowed. |
19 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1939: Enriador (Gamedirector): Welcome you all! Preferences worked quite nicely: * T. Lillis - ST = SOVIET UNION * KINGIVANOV - FBITPGS = FRANCE * ingebot - ITBPG = ITALY * Temasek22 - random = TURKEY * Flamebere - BISFGTP = BRITAIN * Swede03 - GTSPBIF = GERMANY * Bonatogether - P = POLAND I will give you an extra day once the game starts so you can introduce yourselves properly. As in the first playtest, the game will end after 20 turns (i.e. Fall 1949) although everything is negotiable. The victory criteria is now 18 of 39 (up from 14), so bear it in mind! Anything you need, please, feel free to send me a PM or talk through here. I will watch this space several times a day. Happy backstabbing and thanks once again for joining! Hope you have fun. =) |
19 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1939: (Bonatogether): :D |
19 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1939: (T. Lillis): BD |
19 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1939: (Flamebere): Good luck one and all! |
19 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1939: Info: This is a choose your country game. |
19 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1939: I think we must all have wanted to be the same as before, because everyone got their first choice! |
19 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1939: I'm new, so the other Poland player must have dropped out. |
19 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1939: I changed. I played Britain last time. |
19 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1939: Enriador (Gamedirector): Only Temasek and Swede kept their playtest #1 countries. Temasek somehow caught Turkey while going full random twice. =D As in the first playtest, feel free to send me a PM with thoughts on the variant. Balance, history, interaction... anything you believe could be improved upon. |
20 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1939: Oh God I got Turkey again. Glhf guys |
20 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1939: Also Istanbul is still spelled 'Istambul' :P nothing major though. |
20 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1939: I'm pretty sure we caught that bug the first time as well. Did we ever fix the fake Norway-Leningrad connection? I remember that really screwed me up, as I was playing Britain then. |
20 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1939: Enriador (Gamedirector): Norway-Leningrad is fixed. I thought I had fixed Istanbul alongside it! Clearly the definitive solution is to rename it Constantinople. |
20 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1939: Apologies for the late press, I will begin answering now. |
20 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1939: Enriador (Gamedirector): As promised I extended the phase by one day. That should give you time to analyse everyone's press! For those who are new: if you want the phase to pass ASAP, simply click "Ready" under your orders. |
21 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1939: Poland is a very cute shade of pink. |
21 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1939: Polska looks cute but actually is gonna conquer the world. |
21 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1939: I love Poland! |
21 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1939: Please don't kill me Polska |
