19 Sep 20 UTC | Interesting game for me. I had a pretty good opening, but I essentially forced myself to fight both France and England, unable to breakthrough against either- especially in a map where England gets two free backline centers. I expected Italy to attempt to solo with my exposed centers, in which case I was going to intentionally start bleeding centers to austria to force a draw. |
19 Sep 20 UTC | I have no idea why you were so aggressive towards me when I was barely defending against Italy... and then Britany started hitting me. It was a bit way too opportunistic on the verge of suicidal |
19 Sep 20 UTC | Well it was my intention to be enough a nuisance to make it so Italy could beat you, Italy couldn't effectively threaten me till the end, and it's not like I could use my armies for literally anything else. |
19 Sep 20 UTC | Interesting game. I was lucky that Turkey left the game but this was a bit unfair. I got a great ally in Italy which was very friendly to me. I decided in 1907 that I dont try to win this game. I decided to built no more fleets. And because of that I want to draw with Italy. KBan why didnt we eliminate Germany aswell? I try to help you to get Belgium and my units couldnt be a problem for you. I played as defensive as possible. Anyway it was fun with you guys. |
19 Sep 20 UTC | @Austria this map has 41 centers, so it is impossible to 2-way draw |
20 Sep 20 UTC | Yeah, I saw that it wasn’t possible to 2 way draw, so the 3 way seemed much preferable to a loss |
20 Sep 20 UTC | @Austria, I do appreciate the mutual alliance from the early stages. I think not fighting each other is what allowed us to win |
20 Sep 20 UTC | A 100%. When Italy and Austria work together, an alliance must be made from their surrounding countries to beat them. However that's difficult in a gunboat game :/ |
20 Sep 20 UTC | Thats a good hint @ Germany Anyway GG |
