28 Nov 20 UTC | Good game all! Figured I'd try a last time to take Orenburg since sometimes Germany wasn't supporting it. Nice defense Italy. |
28 Nov 20 UTC | Dang, I forgot about this game |
28 Nov 20 UTC | I was just on a mission to destroy Britain in my last breaths, which was a while ago. Well played everyone! |

28 Nov 20 UTC | Italy was incredible! |
28 Nov 20 UTC | GG! Amazing job by Japan to get so close to victory (I think you were guaranteed Tashkent by cutting off support from Orenburg via Omsk and Afghanistan via Karachi). I haven't played a Colonial 1885 that was so close to a solo win. Sorry to SU for the stab, at that point I was still hoping for some slim chance of a solo victory (also that's why I tried to sneak into Madagascar). However, the good defense by Germany and preventing my fleets from entering the Atlantic removed any solo chances from then on. Well played by everyone in this game! |
28 Nov 20 UTC | Rip. Italy you played well I'm sad that you stabbed me but oh well |
28 Nov 20 UTC | Initially I thought I'd get the solo for sure. It took me a while to realize there was a stalemate line where Orenburg could be defended from me, in past games I'd only seen it where a power is in Omsk and Orenburg and unable to break into Europe. I could get Tashkent but nothing further, so I was hoping to try for Orenburg while there was a still a chance of complacency. 18 hour timer is tough! I came within 15 min of getting booted. To China, I think with China and Japan they have to work together to start and then have no choice but to fight. When I've been China I get stuck up against Europe and Middle East with armies and the fleets are so slow to get around to India. Familar faces actually! You were Holland in that game I'm referring to: https://vdiplomacy.com/board.php?gameID=45372#gamePanel |
28 Nov 20 UTC | I joined in late but this still took so long to get to the draw lmao. I've just been support holding for weeks. GG and great job Italy and Japan |
29 Nov 20 UTC | Britain what about me?! I’m offended |
29 Nov 20 UTC | Jk GG all |
