16 Dec 20 UTC Spring, 1908: GameMaster: France voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
23 Dec 20 UTC Spring, 1910: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
24 Dec 20 UTC Spring, 1910: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
24 Dec 20 UTC Spring, 1910: GameMaster: Someone has taken over Austria replacing "Weggla III.". Reconsider your alliances.
16 Jan 21 UTC Spring, 1920: GameMaster: England voted for a Cancel. If everyone votes Cancel all points will be refunded and the game will be deleted from the database.
21 Jan 21 UTC Well, this was certainly a game not poor in stubbornness, on many fronts. :D

Good game, everyone. That nobody succeeded supports my impression that we had a good game at eye level here.

Even though, I have to ask: Austria, what took you so long?
21 Jan 21 UTC GG, annoyed at how well coordinated Turkey and Austria were early, but that'll happen. Could have played safer and gotten around it perhaps.
21 Jan 21 UTC I just like it to have an allie. And this was the first time that I am allied with two different players. I was sad and concerned in 1910 that a new player took over Austria.
Thanks to Von Arnim that you dont exploit that.

Why didnt we defeat France tobi?
Was it because of old connectedness?
22 Jan 21 UTC GG. I’m relieved.
22 Jan 21 UTC You didn't kill France because that is where the line is... England can't defend MAO without that unit
22 Jan 21 UTC I dont agree. England could take Portugal because everybody shows that we dont want to fight anymore.
22 Jan 21 UTC @Turkey: What Italy says. After the second half of the game I could not be sure whether you and Austria would have taken the tough way of forcing me back step by step from the Atlantic. I would have considered taking Portugal if you would have retreated one or two units down there so I would have had the safety to build up my defenses again with the new unit on time.

But even then I would have likely sticked with France. Taking Portugal would have not increased my chances for a Solo in any way. My mid-to-end-game strategy was to try to force your alliance to break by cutting the Turkish units from anywhere else to expand and let Austria disproportionally grow. I was a bit annoyed that this did not work out, that Turkey did not defend its borders against a potential Austrian stab and this way built up tension, and that Austria did not play for the solo in reach. Drawing with only both of you would have been my confession for me personally that I failed against your alliance and I did not intend to end the game in this way. I was actually very close at several points of the game to finalize my throwing to Austria just because of that.
22 Jan 21 UTC This looks like unfinished job. France's preservation was unnecessary. But had to respect England's choice eventually.
I was undecided whether to wait for the forties and develop nuclear weapons in order to force England to abandon France but realized I didn't want to wait that long. On the other hand my slaves were too lazy to dig the Eurotunnel so that I could take London with a sneaky move.

Glad to have had the opportunity to play with such good players and happy to have found a great ally in Turkey which is rather uncommon in gunboat games. Congrats to the survivors.
