04 Mar 21 UTC | Well played. Looking back, autumn 02 I was the largest power, had the support of England (a little) and the animosity of Germany who was failing. Amd Turkey made peace signs moving out of Armenia... why did I build a fleet in sev? I know I wanted peace with Turkey but just wanted to have some sea power in the south. But I assume Turkey immediately took that as an aggressive sign. And it all went backwards from there. Stupid mistake by me |
04 Mar 21 UTC | Things like this could happen. We all know that. Nice game and congrats mazechamp |
04 Mar 21 UTC | Now that I see the full map, I am in disbelief at Italy’s aggression towards me as Turkey filled up the Mediterranean. We could’ve easily had a stalemate line in the Mid-Atlantic as early as 1911. But instead you continued to send everything you had in my direction while Turkey set up his fleets and armies to take Tunis, Marseille, and more.... Autumn 1914 was especially egregious - instead of holding Spain you decided to uselessly attack the Mid-Atlantic. The worst part was that I was actually supporting you in Spain as well because it was clear that Turkey was attacking you and trying to solo. |
04 Mar 21 UTC | To be fair, it is Sacha Baron Cohen.... “very nice!!” |
