06 Jan 21 UTC Autumn, 1238: GameMaster: The Caliphate voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
17 Jan 21 UTC Well played everyone! I was a little worried about a blue solo attempt
17 Jan 21 UTC Gg everyone. I was also starting to worry about one. I started shifting a fleet in preparation for one.
17 Jan 21 UTC Good Game
17 Jan 21 UTC Gg. I considered the solo. I probably could have taken out both my neighbors but figured that crusader and caliphate would unite and stop it. So I slowed my growth to try to keep everyone from uniting against me
17 Jan 21 UTC thanks for keeping me in, was glad to try this variant!
17 Jan 21 UTC A very unbalanced variant played Gunboat, but with fun extra rules.
If only someone consider to change the starting SCs it would be a good variant.
17 Jan 21 UTC Good luck to all in future games.
17 Jan 21 UTC Good game all. Happy it ended I Washington about to be crushed
17 Jan 21 UTC Was*
17 Jan 21 UTC the golden horde does not stand a chance
17 Jan 21 UTC Yes. A quite unbalanced map. I don’t really understand why there isn’t any garison in Yedo #14. That clearly is an advantage for the great khan, as well as his starting position
17 Jan 21 UTC Yes. I set up the game as I want try all variants. Wont try this one again. The yuan dynasty has absolutely nothing they can do to prevent being steamrolled by great Khan early. Literally no clever combination of moves could prevent it. Probably better not gunboat so you can convince others of that too. Never the less well played to those that made the most of what they were given. Thanks for the game
17 Jan 21 UTC I agree. I play as the Yuan in another game. You got the pressure of Srivijaya as well. sandwiched between the two is quite hard. And I don't get why it the Yuan do not get more SCs as a start. After all China is the most populated area on the planet.
17 Jan 21 UTC Game seems almost designed to replicate the actual historical fact of the Mongolian invasion of China and spread all the way to Europe
17 Jan 21 UTC I think the only playable factions in this map are Crusader States, The Great Khan, Sirivijaya and the Caliphate. Others are just preys for others.

Golden Horde also couldn't really defend anything. You could only get 2-3 SCs in the end of first year and then steamrolled by either Crusaders State, Ilkhanate or Chagatai.
17 Jan 21 UTC I think Tibet can do well if they get lucky off the start. Generally they can survive in the mountains with just 3 centers
17 Jan 21 UTC Some powers end their first autumn surrounded by enemies and only 3or 4 SCs and others are in a corner, without enemies and with 6 or 8 SCs.
Clearly unfair.
17 Jan 21 UTC I understand you, Khmer.
Had Khmer in other Mongolian Empire game and I was butchered by Srivijaya alone in 2 years.
17 Jan 21 UTC Nobody talk about Delhi, but that one is hard as well
