27 Dec 21 UTC | Good game guys, thank you. GB, that was a hell of an alliance without being able to talk, thanks for not stabbing me! I was getting nervous at times, thinking as Germany and Italy got weaker you had a pretty good chance if you betrayed me, but I'm glad you didn't. Russia, we hardly had anything to do with each other, but thanks for the draw :) |
28 Dec 21 UTC | congratulations for the draw. Sadly it was not an even game. cos since the begining it was a 3 vs 2 (Allies vs Axis) game with nothing to do but trying to not surrender too many SCs to one player or another . |
28 Dec 21 UTC | That said, it felt like a bit of a blitz from you from the beginning. If i'd sensed some hesitation to attack me I could've easily gone North and South to attack the UK position, but your rapid eastern deployments kind of made an alliance with UK crucial to my survival. Russia + Germany and Italy is obviously harder than Russia + UK and France, but I think it's possible even in gunboat with this map. |
28 Dec 21 UTC | gg anyways. Thanks for the draw gentlement |
28 Dec 21 UTC | there are only 2 SCs on the west, that furthermore England and France will demand. on the other side, on the east, there 7 SCs... so I decided not to anoy France or England , hopping they look for other objectives... but it didnt works. Thanks Italy for the axis-alliance ;) Well played all. |
28 Dec 21 UTC | Well France I was nervous too, seeing you could easily attack me in the Mediterranean Sea. Luckily none of us started that attack. And USSR, you were really aggressive in the end, I thought you were going to attack me. I wanted to attack you in the beginning, but because of the German invasion, I didn't indeed. And finally in the end I understood how Copenhagen works! I spent half of the game trying (and failing) to advance in this region... |
28 Dec 21 UTC | So thanks for the game everyone ;) |
28 Dec 21 UTC | Yeah I wasn't sure if you and France would accept the draw, so I was eager to garner any 11th hour advantage I could in case you and France both came at me. |
