19 Jan 22 UTC | Spring, 1900: (Snowstorm): Has anyone played this variant before? According to the statistics Germany is a little strong, vs England and Turkey being little too weak. Though that may only be due to people trying to play regular diplo meta... |
19 Jan 22 UTC | Spring, 1900: (EricBoehm87): Never played it before. Looks interesting, and the creator says in the notes that he intended to make Germany more powerful. Seems like Italy would be a crappy draw, but what else is new. |
19 Jan 22 UTC | Spring, 1900: (Count of Notwin): I think it is more balanced in respect to the classic map |

20 Jan 22 UTC | Spring, 1900: Good luck, all |
20 Jan 22 UTC | Spring, 1900: Italy? At least I am in the middle of the action :) |
28 Jan 22 UTC | Spring, 1901: So if Germany doesn't show up, is the game auto-extended? |
28 Jan 22 UTC | Spring, 1901: I think I set it up so, yes. |
28 Jan 22 UTC | Spring, 1901: Ah yes, I see the "extend always" option now. At least we won't have missed orders. |
28 Jan 22 UTC | Spring, 1901: Another miss in 5 turns (I think) will result in the game kicking you out, though at least in webDiplo it is possible to just join again. After 5 turns you are supposed to get your grace back. Doesn't vDiplo also track your participation? If you are a reliable player you get a high score or something? |
28 Jan 22 UTC | Spring, 1901: oh yeah that's were the settings show up, at the top of the page. I have just somehow mentally skipped that stuff. |
28 Jan 22 UTC | Spring, 1901: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders. |
28 Jan 22 UTC | Spring, 1901: Annnnnnd we try again! |
28 Jan 22 UTC | Spring, 1901: I really hope this game does not get messed up by something external like this |
28 Jan 22 UTC | Spring, 1901: At worst I think Germany would get booted and we'd have to get a replacement. I think the "always extend" means we can't continue without orders from every player. |
29 Jan 22 UTC | Spring, 1901: I'll ask around if I can find a replacement player |
