30 Jun 22 UTC [Japan]:gg
30 Jun 22 UTC [Prussia]:GG everyone!
01 Jul 22 UTC [Brazil]:Yeah, whew, that was intense. GG!
01 Jul 22 UTC [Japan]:@Brazil: I was worried for you! You didn't have to go to war with *everyone* lol
(Personally, I thought we had a pretty good alliance going---I think the victory table would have different if we had kept it up. From my perspective, at one point in the game, it was difficult for me to not take the increased militarization of our Pacific border and those repeated supported attacks into my Coral Sea and EQCC positions as signs of pending war. Of course, it's easy to misconstrue with it being gunboat so I apologize for any misunderstanding.)
01 Jul 22 UTC [Japan]:Compliments to @Holland and @China for very hard-fought wars. Those two wars kept me busy for many turns.
01 Jul 22 UTC [Turkey]:oh thank God you guys finally finished off the USA

For YEARS I was staring at the board muttering "Just cooperate and kill him already and the four survivors can draw."

Prussia, thanks for being a great friend (both new and Old Prussia). I was worried when I had Russians in Angora and Austrians in Bosnia that it was curtains for Turkey but thanks to your steadfastness I managed to scrape through.

Japan, nice bit of jostling around the Himalayas but I'm happy we were able to quickly settle. China, sorry I stabbed you but you were a sinking ship.

Brazil, I was sort of hoping we'd work together against Japan, but then you kept attacking me so I decided to - slowly - grind out all of Africa. It kept the turns amusing while I waited for the draw. :)

GG everyone.
01 Jul 22 UTC [Holland]:gg
01 Jul 22 UTC [China]:When I replaced the old player I had already no chance to win, but that was still fun, thanks for the game everyone. :)
01 Jul 22 UTC [Brazil]:@Japan: Haha, yeah, I never really wanted war with you, but I kept getting worried about your increased presence in the Australian region. I was hoping that my mix of support holds for you with supported attacks to slow down your movements near me would be readable as "I want peace but I'm worried about you attacking" but it's completely understandable if that didn't make sense lol
01 Jul 22 UTC [Brazil]:@Turkey: Ah, I just assumed your plan was to dominate Africa no matter what (it's the most natural strategy for Turkey especially once Holland and France are mostly dead) so I just keep fighting you off as long as I could.
