25 May 22 UTC Who would have thunk?
25 May 22 UTC I would have thunk. I ran into Germany in St. Pete. I figured he was killing it but nobody could see it, so I had to keep fighting an aggressive Turkey and Italy. What started out so well, ended just short of elimination. Great game Germany.
25 May 22 UTC I suspected Germany was about to solo, hence me attempting to assist France. Seeing both Britain and Russia be eliminated made me think that Germany at the very least controlled the British Isles; combined with the standard German centers plus a good chunk of France, and possibly part of Russia, I felt it likely that they were in a very commanding position. Being bogged down by the Turks and Austria didn't make my attempts to assist France particularly feasible, but of course, there was absolutely no way for Turkey to have known.
25 May 22 UTC Also oof Austria that stab hurt after I pulled off a Lepanto.
25 May 22 UTC GG Germany. After you pulled off that one turn, I assumed Turkey had just reached your door step and you were turning to fight him off from a solo. Little did I know that it was just you going after Austria.
25 May 22 UTC Sorry Italy. I was hoping Turkey would stay my ally. He stabbed me just as I was stabbing you. I tried to go back supporting you, even when you were in Trieste, but you didn't seem to want any part of an alliance with me after that. I think I was at 8 centers at one point. Such a downfall. Still, I think I like this anonymous with no messaging Fog stuff.
25 May 22 UTC GG all. There was a lot of back and forth. The thing with fog is you don't see what's going on and you have to hope an pray a lot.
