Thanks everyone, I first tried this variant a few times in the old days with only drop down orders and quickly found that I loved the idea but couldn't manage the place names. Playing it with interactive maps though totally makes the variant come alive.

Was really hoping people would do more to stop the Spanish solo, PW got attacked and just immediately stopped bothering to try and defend themselves and kept moving east, and then stopped moving at all (5 whole turns of not moving units and only CD'd on the last one of those in spring 1654). Also Brandenburg had a unit in WS Netherlands that just kept hitting Luxemburg for 4 turns when they could have moved to BoL to take or at least harass more than one single province.
Good job Kaner though, you played well, just wished more people tried to stop you.
