20 Nov 22 UTC Autumn, 1868: GameMaster: Someone has taken over Brazil replacing "tushansusu258". Reconsider your alliances.
23 Nov 22 UTC Spring, 1869: GameMaster: France voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
01 Feb 23 UTC Autumn, 1882: GameMaster: Mexico voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Concede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat.
01 Mar 23 UTC Spring, 1890: GameMaster: Japan voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Concede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat.
02 Mar 23 UTC [France]:A terrible ending. We did successfully stop Prussia, but Mexico's NMR ruined everything.
02 Mar 23 UTC [France]:And it's even worse that Prussia refused to draw when we already made a perfect defense, and just waited for someone to NMR...
02 Mar 23 UTC [Holland]:Oof. Good game all.
02 Mar 23 UTC [Japan]:Yeah Mexico's NMR really hurt everyone here unfortunately.

I also wish Holland would have cooperated with us earlier. They kept trying to fight France and were destroying units on the border with Prussia instead of the borders with us even when we were throwing support holds. But they at least cooperated in the end which was good.
02 Mar 23 UTC [Brazil]:Hm that’s unfortunate. Wish we could’ve seen a WC-1 draw.

I think Prussia’s win could’ve been delayed, if not entirely stopped after the NMR, by QBC to Hudson, ONT support NYO to QBC, TNN to WDC to NYO, SARGASSO to N.ATLANTIC, RCM support E.SEABOARD to CHESAPEAKE, ATL to E.SEABOARD, and BHA support CUB to SARGASSO.

Or maybe I’m reading it wrong, I do better on interactive lol

In any case, GG all, and congrats Prussia!
02 Mar 23 UTC [Prussia]:GG all. Brutally long game. It felt like a huge grind for me.

A potential stop at the point of 69 out of 70 would have been just devastating. Kudos to all involved, especially Japan, for spotting the opportunity. But the irregularly supported Chesapeake as well as many other hard-to-spot opportunities motivated me to continue e.g. should have taken Gulf of Manaar when it wasn't being supported, should have double supported Maldives into NE. Monsoon a turn earlier vacating Maldives, etc.

Japan, no need to have conceded on the last turn. Brazil is completely right. Tactically speaking, there were several guaranteed defense orders that would have prevented me from taking any of Nova Scotia, Quebec, ESE, or Sargasso. Also, earlier in the game before I became the solo threat, I was hoping you would go for the 4-way draw by finishing off France and Holland. Wondering if it crossed your mind? Same question to you Brazil.

Lastly, apologies to Turkey.
02 Mar 23 UTC [Japan]:Yeah I only conceded because 1. I thought Mexico would NMR again, and 2. because I didn't think Mexico would move Quebec to Hudson to stop it, which he didn't. I didn't actually except everyone to concede, I just threw it in there because I was slightly upset that it had to end this way lol. It had crossed my mind at one point to attack France in SE Asia, but you were growing at a fairly large rate so I held off on doing that.

But still GG everyone. It was an intense game.
02 Mar 23 UTC [Brazil]:Prussia - I did, a few years ago, I thought I could reasonably sneak a fleet into CTN/OKN, but by that point, I didn't want to risk France and/or Holland coming after me and threatening the state of the stalemate line.
02 Mar 23 UTC [Brazil]:Not before you became a major threat though, Mexico only seemed to stop attacking me after I thought you had a shot at taking most of Eurasia, with China weakened and Turkey likely to be next. I probably could've moved north and taken a share of Africa and still held a line, maybe with Mexico's help, but it is what it is.
03 Mar 23 UTC [Turkey]:Congrats, Prussia! An impressive win.

This was such a frustrating game for me, right as I finally started to be able to make headway against Russia, my centers started getting sniped by by everyone. I definitely played out the role of "sick man of Europe" expertly if I do say so myself haha
