04 May 23 UTC | Good game everybody. |
04 May 23 UTC | Italy, we had such a combo there. And Great Britain, those were some pretty good guesses all 'round and some poor calculatations on my part and quickness to hit ready before I was truly ready. I decided to hit draw because I wasn't sure if I would be able to withstand likely Italian pressure to the South with his extra units and Spainnto the West. I didn't know everybody else had hit draw too though. I'm sufficiently happy with board top though. |
04 May 23 UTC | Oh shit, I'm alive! |
04 May 23 UTC | Man you were playing pretty solid there Poland lol. Tbh Iyou probably could have eliminated me though it would have taken alot longer. Very well played! Had me on the ropes pretty much right after Germany fell. Thanks spain for backing me up! I'm glad we both were able to have peace after a rocky start. |

04 May 23 UTC | Excellent game everyone! Thanks for the great partnership, Poland. I realize that my move to Podolia at the end may have instigated your draw vote, but that wasn’t my intention. I was trying to reach Moldova to help defend Odessa if needed. My draw vote was only in because I had no say in any further eliminations - I figured you could safely eliminate England, but ultimately that would be between you and Spain. Egypt, you really outplayed me in the Mediterranean for a while there, I was lucky to pick up centers from France & Turkey (with Poland’s assistance) so that I could gather enough troops to stop your advance. Very glad that Spain ended up remaining neutral, I was worried I might get sandwiched and eliminated but I suppose Poland was too large to risk my collapse that might lead to a solo. Shout out to France the sore loser making us wait the full 36 hours each time in the final 2 years of retreats and disbands. Classy move. |
04 May 23 UTC | I was definitely concerned about a Polish solo, hence why I tried to play nice with Britain and Egypt. Swooping through the Mediterranean was quite tempting, but Poland would have almost certainly won. |
04 May 23 UTC | I've somehow managed to survive to the draw 3 times in a row on this map so far |
