24 May 23 UTC | Gg. Would have liked to go for more but it was pretty clear everybody else was content |
24 May 23 UTC | Gg everyone. Holland, I wanted to go after you, but once Germany NMRed, it was clear that you were going to get way too powerful for me to take on alone so I gave you Tonkin as a peace offering. I must say though, Italian St. Petersburg is quite cursed… |
24 May 23 UTC | I would have loved to try to flank around to open a second non-stale mated from with you Holland but didn't want to have to go through Italy who was a reliable neighbour since the beginning. Well played everyone. |
24 May 23 UTC | I was very concerned about pressing Holland too hard, causing Japan to exploit a possible weakness and solo, or to simply watch Holland solo. I'm glad we were able to draw! Also, while I understood Austria taking Moscow from me because it was very awkward, that combined with the fleet build had me absolutely paranoid for a bit. Was also really counting on a build for Eritrea then, I'd have cleared out the horn earlier. |
24 May 23 UTC | Yeah I was afraid that fleet build would scare you. But I really needed that fleet if I was to take Black Sea. |
