Yeah, it was over as soon as Egypt and Persia started collapsing and Carthage and you started fighting. Carthage actually stood a decent chance if Egypt didn't sneak behind in Sahara.

True. I feel like most of the gunboat games are really decided trough the second/third build phase (i think most people don’t realise the advantage of gaining one or more SC center than usual). But officialy it is hard to unite and stand against an opponent in a gunboat. Nice 2 see Greece W

Rome I recognise your proposal to prevent a Greek solo. However your collapse seemed inevitable so I figured better to take your SC’s rather then Greece. Greece to those SC’s anyway so perhaps it was better to cooperate after all… :)
