23 Feb 12 UTC | Autumn, 1902: This is pretty much reassuring my belief that Italy does in fact have an advantage over Germany if the double convoy to Greece is used by Italy. It's pretty easy to ensure a solid opening and position advantage, as we both demonstrated as Italy |
23 Feb 12 UTC | Autumn, 1902: We'll see, I think it's far from over just yet, but yeah, I tend to think that Italy is at least on equal terms with Germany |
23 Feb 12 UTC | Autumn, 1903: Oh damn. Yeah, I'm fucked. GG. |
23 Feb 12 UTC | Autumn, 1903: we'll finish later, I have to start working on a paper |
23 Feb 12 UTC | Autumn, 1903: Sounds good, I'm actually in a class I like now, lol |
24 Feb 12 UTC | Spring, 1904: Not sure what exactly went wrong in this one... I can't place it, but I got owned really badly. |
24 Feb 12 UTC | Spring, 1904: I think I got way too cutesy around Austria. Position moves are fine, even two straight turns of them... but not if you're just going to let your opponent draw up an impenetrable line with those two turns :p |
25 Feb 12 UTC | Autumn, 1906: GG, you've got this. |
25 Feb 12 UTC | Autumn, 1906: thanks, you probably have me in the other game. I think a good player can always win with Italy. What were your impressions before the match started? Who did you think had the advantage? At first, I thought Germany, then as I got better at tactics and movement, I now think that Italy has a decided advantage, for the good tacticians like you and me at least. If Italy does the double convoy at the beginning, it gives the ability to guarantee control of the Balkans, and efficiently gain many sc's. Germany doesn't have that luxury. |
