I was also curious if anyone ever tried other types of conquest games like langrab*net or wargear*net? I'm looking to add more similar games.

Diplicity and Conspiray have been closed and don't exist anymore. Although some former Diplicity devs are working to build a new website (but it's far from being finished) and someone is trying to make a Conspiracy 2.0. (but it's in the very early stage). Playdiplomacy has been hacked and so there are some issues on this website.

But in the list of working "websites", you can add Discord. Many games are being organised there.
Also there is Diplomania, a website for the French speaking community.

Yeah, it was fairly recent. Diplicity shut down on 31 August 2024 and Conspiracy shut down a month later.

Well, ackchyually ;) only the Diplicity Android app was retired from the official PlayStore in August. The Diplicity website was still fully functionnal. But the host (iBrave) ceased to exist around November, and that's when Diplicity was forced to shut down.

I don't know why there are so many different platforms to play the same boardgame? Why not to do one website but the best one. The only reason that webdiplomacy.ru is hosted: - - - >>> Oli and Kestas don't want to implement the feature to create the games and forum threads with language-marks. So the russian- or chinese- speaking or others players can gather and start their games in the prefered language.
