Minor map issues

Is anybody able to make minor cosmetic map changes to the variants, for readability? There's two small things I've noticed:

* Imperial Diplomacy II: there's a connection between Morocco and W. Med, but the map really doesn't show it.
* First Crusade: The Sardinia supply centre in the large map is placed in an odd, almost invisible spot.

Me, although I have a slightly different user name there. I tend to prefer playing on vDip more and more over time... I'm a smidgin bored of the variants on WebDip (and I mostly play Gunboat due to time constraints).

Almost everyone here has been on webdip at some point or another.

Most people don't go back after playing here, though, since vDip is clearly the better site :)

I played on webdip years ago. I like the variants here, and the more laid-back atmosphere.

Me on both, but mainly on here because I prefer the site rules and flexibility in game setup - inc the invaluable option to skip the weekend processing for friends who go on the razzle on the weekend.

I used webdip first, but switched over here after while (once had about 30 games going at the same time if I added up vdip and webdip together xD) but I am now fully one here ^^ the variants and players are a lot of fun here :) plus I have a chance to get into the top 100 again xD

I like both. I know the community a bit better on WebDip, and I enjoy a live game from time to time. The variety here is certainly a plus, but the classic map is my favorite.

I tried WebDip, but they are too vicious over there for my sensitive nature. And they spill over to the games from the forum if they really don't like your comments. I don't need the drama. Then again, my second sentence could be countered simply with, "don't make any comments". ;-)

Just set it for no weekend processing at 36 hours and also make it so if anyone misses their turn, it starts the phase over and puts them in CD.

Yes, I'm a fan for serious games because a missed turn can screw up the game completely and even give away an unearned solo.

Started on WebDip then progressed here, clearly the better site. Also people don't report you if you manage the difficult task of setting up an alliance in a no messages game simply by support holding.

Mine was the first reply. If you are referring to that, it was strictly an factual statement. I am a former webDip player. I did not go into details as to why nor did I bad mouth webDip. I could have, but I chose not too.

"Papers,Please" variant idea

I just thought,wouldnt the papers,please variant be a nice addition to vdip?The map should be something like this- http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=190964694&insideModal=1
Every country borders at least two others,but there are no neutrals.The SC names are already in(tho nirsk should just be a province).I have no idea how to program or balance stuff,so,can this even be done without copyright problems?And can this be an actual variant someday?

New podcast segment: Dip Dilemmas
