16 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1878: GameMaster: Russia voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
06 Jun 17 UTC GG
06 Jun 17 UTC Well played everyone, disappointing result, but sometimes it goes that way...
06 Jun 17 UTC NO! Holland you should have carried on - we had the back-stabbing Chinese on the run at last!
06 Jun 17 UTC GG - I'm happy to get as far as I did from the tricky starting position France gets. Nice working with you in silence Holland.
06 Jun 17 UTC I was desperately hoping Holland would choose me over France. Sorry I wanted to kill France, but ya know.
I tried to set up an alliance with Holland by supporting him to Cebu when England still had it, but he attacked me, I tried again with a support hold but he cut it again, I knew at that stage it was war. But he held me back, so well done for that. China, well I think you should be grateful I was such a loyal ally :)
06 Jun 17 UTC I was worried for a while that Japan's loyalty to China would give China the win, but Russia did a nice job pushing back in the end.
06 Jun 17 UTC I was never concerned, A) it was a PPSC so as long as I could blockade China I was fine. B) the solo is 30 SCs and China never got over 20, but then even if he was at 25, he was still my ally because it was a PPSC
06 Jun 17 UTC Sorry Japan but I choosed France as allie. I was annoyed that you are playing the whole time with China. You Need armies at the continent. Japan has no Chance for the win if he dont builds armys. You see I can easily block you together with France. China could just expand so good because Japan was passive.
But i did the same fault. I dont got armys aswell so i dont got the Chance to win.

GG everybody. Ist just a game.
06 Jun 17 UTC I have no interest in solo victories, I much prefer alliance victories as I think they involve much more skill (especially in games with no communication). Being true to your ally through good times and bad is what counts in my view
06 Jun 17 UTC (Also what is GG? Good game?)
06 Jun 17 UTC Yep - GG is "good game" And this one was overall.
Britain had an early surge where he was quite the threat in Spring 1872 - that was beaten back impressively.
Very few missed turns in this one, which always makes for a better game.
