24 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1938: GameMaster: NMR from Germany. Send the country in CD.
24 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1938: GameMaster: Missing orders for Autumn, 1938 (Diplomacy) from a country with 2 or more SCs. Extending phase. The game will continue after this phase even if you do not find a replacement.
24 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1938: Well, hopefully we get a replacement soon!
24 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1938: GameMaster: Someone has taken over Germany replacing "Skylin". Reconsider your alliances.
24 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1938: Hey everyone! I'll be reading your post and replying as soon as I can. All the best to all.
12 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1943: France, you do realize that this is exactly why I stabbed you, right?
14 May 17 UTC Spring, 1944: GameMaster: France voted for a Cancel. If everyone votes Cancel all points will be refunded and the game will be deleted from the database.
14 May 17 UTC Spring, 1944: GameMaster: Britain voted for a Cancel. If everyone votes Cancel all points will be refunded and the game will be deleted from the database.
14 May 17 UTC Spring, 1944: That was an accidental vote; I cancelled it. I think its bad sportsmanship to vote that. If France missed a turn, that's their problem not anyone else's. I missed a couple of turns too, and I understand that it is solely my fault, just like it is solely France's fault to be in the position that they are in now.
14 May 17 UTC Spring, 1944: Totally fair. No problem Britain, it's reversed and in the past.
14 May 17 UTC Spring, 1944: Yeah I know. I just thought it was important to let France know that it's not fair for him to vote that way just because he got stabbed and missed a turn.
15 May 17 UTC Spring, 1944: I didn't mean to vote for a cancel of the game, it's just that I can't continue giving this game my everything which I don't believe is fair to you all so I was looking for a way out. How do you leave a game? I've seen many players do it though I don't know how
15 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1944: Leaving a game (ie, dropping out) is considered poor form by most players. You can advertise for a replacement, as vdip has a "give away" feature, where you can transfer the game to a new player. Flat out leaving a game though, or purposely going CD, is something that will often give your name a "black mark" so to speak.
22 May 17 UTC Spring, 1946: GameMaster: Someone has taken over France replacing "Makaveli". Reconsider your alliances.
26 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1947: GameMaster: Italy voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
26 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1947: Oh no! Italy claimed Andalucia!
26 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1947: Any chance of finalizing builds Italy?
26 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1947: Thanks!
27 May 17 UTC GameMaster: Soviet Russia voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
27 May 17 UTC That was beautiful. What a game!
