14 Jul 17 UTC	Autumn, 1459: No, because the northern folk only seem to want to beat up each other and not fight off Venezia. They all think short term and not long term for what will happen when that foe they are pounding on between them and Venezia is gone and they're next. Bunch of short-sighted players.
14 Jul 17 UTC	Autumn, 1459: Once my position became untenable I decided to throw the game to Venezia. Neither Savoia nor Ferrrara had any interest in working with me. So y'all get Venezia. If I'm going down in defeat I'll take the rest of you with me. I'd rather Survived than Defeated. If ol' Bob will come through for me as agreed.
14 Jul 17 UTC	Autumn, 1459: Perhaps he will, but hopefully the other Northern powers will come aroundn before t is too late, and you may be in on a draw. I'd do the same for Napoli if it became a dire situation in the South (tho I doubt that will happen before he is out of the fight).

I was rather fortunate that there was so much hostility amongst the different powers even though I was already a threat that basically everyone should've been concerned with. A special thank you to sly, mayor and george - who have all in a different way contributed to the growth of my empire (either by in agreement focussing on the other players on the map, or granting me the crucial support into Sulmona ;-) ).
