09 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Good luck
09 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1901: You too!
10 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: I guessed wrong with Bohemia. After this game, do you mind talking to me about how I got into this spot? I chose to focus on Russia and the Mediterranean, but I can't escape the feeling that I would have been behind in one theater no matter what with your strong opening.
10 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: Not at all.
12 Sep 17 UTC GameMaster: England voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
12 Sep 17 UTC Good block in Western Med and great game.
12 Sep 17 UTC I think your opening was very powerful. When you considered how the game would progress from the opening turn, what were you most worried about with the opening you chose?

It looked like it covered all the bases extremely well. I made a deliberate decision to prioritize advancing to the stalemate line areas above unit development (my fleet headed straight for Tunis and skipped a supply center because it would have cost me a turn in the process), but we were still bouncing in Tunis and Moscow, and I basically had to concede Germany to try to secure Russia and Tunis. Your opening on the other hand didn't appear to concede any fronts.
12 Sep 17 UTC I forgot to deal with the Mediterranean and let you get past the Italian peninsula too quickly. I also needed to use my advantage in the Baltic regions to get to Livonia and then Moscow.
12 Sep 17 UTC Do you think England is structurally advantaged in this matchup, or do you think I made a strategic mistake that made the game harder for me than it should have been? I was clawing the entire game and felt like I only got the draw through a series of very fortunate 50/50 calls. Game felt over when you got into Tyrolia.
12 Sep 17 UTC England does have an advantage, but Turkey can win. Want to swap nations and play again?
12 Sep 17 UTC Sure.
