28 Jan 11 UTC | Spring, 1860: It auto reduces the pots when it is 2 player. And the computer read our country selections...... |
28 Jan 11 UTC | Spring, 1860: This one has screwy rules for fleets moving in the rivers. I don't fully understand so we can learn together, I guess... |
28 Jan 11 UTC | Spring, 1860: I also started a game on this map, but with 10 players. http://vdiplomacy.com/board.php?gameID=359 Just thought I would offer in case you wanted to play over there. |
28 Jan 11 UTC | Spring, 1860: Ever heard of Harry Turtledove? He does a series of novels based on the fact the CSA won the war. I read over the series a bit, and it sounds incredibly complex. It is sort of painful, as it merges fictional characters with real-life people that do things differently given the new timeline. For example, I think Teddy Roosevelt may have been a CSA president at some point. Looks like he spent a lot of time on it. |
28 Jan 11 UTC | Spring, 1860: yeah looks like things could be a little strange with the rivers i have heard of his books but havent read them yet.... i havent really read much these last few years at all... miss it |

28 Jan 11 UTC | Autumn, 1861: i guess i better find the rules really quick... do we lose if we lose our capital? |
28 Jan 11 UTC | Autumn, 1861: click on variants. no, first guy to 34 scs i think. |

28 Jan 11 UTC | Spring, 1862: ok so taking the other capital hasnt been implemented yet. |
28 Jan 11 UTC | Spring, 1862: I hope. lol And spanks? What are you, in 7th grade? hehe |
28 Jan 11 UTC | Autumn, 1862: I dislike how you can only build in home SCs. there is a variant on here that lets you build in any SC you hold. I think it is only in Europe, though, |
28 Jan 11 UTC | Autumn, 1862: yeah i was thinking the same thing.... especially in this map.. you should be able to raise an army anywhere you control |
28 Jan 11 UTC | Spring, 1863: i need to duck out and take care of some other things for a bit... back in a little :) |
28 Jan 11 UTC | Spring, 1863: Same with me, in and out all night. Be good. |
29 Jan 11 UTC | Autumn, 1863: Sheesh, this is getting complicated! |
29 Jan 11 UTC | Autumn, 1863: yes it is.... and you have to get to 34 to win? |
