19 Jan 21 UTC | Sorry for playing on this long. Felt like I had to try, and sort of forgot EoG was 40 SCs here instead of the usual 33. |
19 Jan 21 UTC | No worries. Great game. Sorry Poland & France, that was cold of me - wouldn’t have stabbed if the 3-way draw wasn’t virtually guaranteed. |
19 Jan 21 UTC | Yeah, your peace with Ukraine came earlier than expected and was bad news for any winning prospects I had. |
20 Jan 21 UTC | Good Game. Good timing to pull out support from Poland, German. |
20 Jan 21 UTC | I can understand the feeling to try, Turkey. That's why I don't say anything about your stab. |
20 Jan 21 UTC | Gg all. Do someone knows Russia's intentions?!!! |
20 Jan 21 UTC | You mean Russia tried to attack me, but get obliterated by Poland instead? |
20 Jan 21 UTC | Then, he just wanted to stay alive by taking Ireland. But that's what I think. |
20 Jan 21 UTC | I understand he could be annoyed with Poland and decided to help Germany.. but that wasn't what happened. Btw. Fun variant. Good luck to all in your future games. |
20 Jan 21 UTC | @England: That was a desperate game for me. After the Polish stab I could decide if I gave my SC to Poland or Ukraine. And of course I was more angry at Poland. To attack Ireland was my only chance to play a few more rounds. You could not know it but after I took Irland I want to help you stopping Germany. That was the reason why I moved into the NAO. It would be better if I just hold in Ireland because you thought I wanna attack you further. From 2001 to 2002 I gave you SH to defend Liverpool... I could not defend Ireland vs 4 German fleets and decided to move to Portugal. I never want to help Germany. So please help us what really happened? |
20 Jan 21 UTC | Just watching the replay once more. Portugal lost to Russia could be said as tipping point to Spain-French battle. The collapse of Iberian peninsula also made Turkey able to take the rest of North Africa. |
