06 Nov 23 UTC | Spring, 1861: surprise! :D |
06 Nov 23 UTC | Autumn, 1864: So far I have never lost a game on this map where my opponen didn't take three centers in the first year. I fear this will be the first one. |
06 Nov 23 UTC | Spring, 1865: Well, CSA has a better record here, and I forewent a build specifically to establish a strategic advantage (also to make the game spicier!) |
06 Nov 23 UTC | Spring, 1865: You made the right guess when I went to Massachusets |
06 Nov 23 UTC | Spring, 1866: perhaps a real life reenactment of the 1863 nyc draft riots? |
06 Nov 23 UTC | Autumn, 1866: I have reached the stage where it is, colloquially speaking, over for me. |
06 Nov 23 UTC | Spring, 1867: But still fighting to the last! Appreciate your spirit |
06 Nov 23 UTC | Good game. I think that regardless of whether I succeeded in breaking through nyc, my early fleet in Cape May tied down a number of your units. For example, I left Richmond open for a whole year because I knew you wouldn't try to take it while my fleet was at large, indirectly helping me get a second unit behind your lines. Although certainly wouldn't have mattered much in the long run without entering nyc |
