16 Jan 24 UTC Spring, 1860: GameMaster: Please remember that negotiations before the game begins are not allowed.
17 Jan 24 UTC Spring, 1860: Info: This is a choose your country game.
17 Jan 24 UTC Spring, 1860: Hello again!
18 Jan 24 UTC Spring, 1860: Does anyone ever beat you in these games?
18 Jan 24 UTC Spring, 1860: Yes, I get beaten quite often, I would guess my victory rate on this map is somewhere around 60%
18 Jan 24 UTC Autumn, 1860: lol - I thought you were the master of this map - I have never even given you a competitive game - let's see how this one goes - different strategy but I haven't thought it too far out
18 Jan 24 UTC Autumn, 1860: I have played around 200 games on this map and I have been beaten only once in a scenario where the opponent has gotten 2 builds in the first year and I 3. I think it's the best strategy to bounce in Ketucky and then go for three centers. (I accidentally didn't go there this time)
18 Jan 24 UTC Autumn, 1860: It might be a good strategy against a player you consider superior to try to generate situations in which one has to take a guess in the beginning. If luck is on your side, you then might start with an advantage.
18 Jan 24 UTC Autumn, 1860: And the general broad strategy on this map is to not let the other player encircle you or break the front line. That's the number 1 priotity. Also try to block the other players builds if possible. Don't take centers that are far away in the beginning, as you need as many troops as possible at the front. Some time an unit might become free and it then can roam around and collect centers.
18 Jan 24 UTC Autumn, 1860: which is what just happened - lol
not necessarily lucky, but at least not starting at a disadvantage
18 Jan 24 UTC Autumn, 1860: If both have only 2 build that even things out. My unit in WV is now an annoying factor to you as there are many guesses.
18 Jan 24 UTC Spring, 1861: I thought about that move - If I had have dislodged the WV unit would the tap on WDC still have worked?
18 Jan 24 UTC Autumn, 1861: Yes, taps always work
18 Jan 24 UTC Autumn, 1861: Interesting start here
30 Jan 24 UTC Spring, 1869: Well played! I think
03 Feb 24 UTC Autumn, 1870: still not too sure of myself, but this has been a fun game
13 Feb 24 UTC Spring, 1874: This is an interesting one, troops spread out with still no clear winner.
13 Feb 24 UTC Spring, 1874: I'd say you have an advantage
22 Feb 24 UTC Autumn, 1876: I was doing OK when I had you bottled up and you had trouble building and getting fleets out - now that you broke that logjam, I am pretty sure I am finished
26 Feb 24 UTC GameMaster: Union voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Concede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat.
