On the subject of inverted time continuum simulation in Diplomacy

That said, the arguments in favour of this idea are the followings;
Predisposition of the game and its written orders to manipulate in-game moves history,
Presence of a game master that can keep orders written for the future secret,
Sheer coolness of doing such a thing

A comment on common courtesy

Stuff happens in life and people occasionally need help from Mods to exit games without destroying the games for other players. Players who need Mods to remove them and delay games should provide a list of all of their games to the Mods. This is common courtesy.

I haven't played on webdip in...7 years it looks like (and it was just 1 game, really it's been 10 years I guess!). But checking old games, you are correct! I did apparently play in the Leagues back in 2011. I had completely forgotten it!

So just to clarify - are points carried through rounds? Like your points from prelims add to points from semi finals? Or do they reset every round?

The prelim points will reset. There isn't a whole lot of value to scoring more in the prelims, it's mainly about making the semis by scoring as much as you can.
